The process of using oil paints can be very confusing. This is why they are often overlooked or avoided completely, with easier to use, water-based paints taking preference.

Personally, I love to use oils. Having worked with them for the first 20 years of my career as an artist, they are versatile as they are slow to dry and therefore, empathetic to change. So, I thought it would be good to share with you all how I like to use this medium, my tips and tricks and to debunk some oil paint myths along the way!
